Service Description At this camp, kids become little engineers and master potters all in one! They’ll combine creativity with problem-solving as they: Day 1: Design Dream Houses: Plan a floor layout and build a miniature house out of clay. Day 2: Engineer Everyday Objects: Make a device that solves a problem and makes life easier— I will demonstrate how to make a “toothpaste roller" Day 3: Students will create their own invention or 2 choice items on the pottery wheel. (I have a lot of inspiration to choose from!) Campers leave with not only their own handmade creations but also a stronger understanding of planning, construction, and the creative engineering process—all while having tons of fun! Imagination and artistic expression encouraged! Included: High quality clay and glazes Access to pottery wheel, tools, and slab roller Kiln firing of all projects (to be picked up in 2-3 weeks after camp) Daily Popcorn Tuesday-Engineer Themed Treat Wednesday- Snow Cone Treat Campers bring their lunch and a water bottle or buy lunch from a set menu for an additional fee.
