Melody Meyer discovered her love for ceramics in sixth grade and has been creating ever since. After graduating from Texas State University in 2008, she taught elementary math and middle school art before shifting her focus to ceramics full time. Today, Melody teaches pottery wheel classes for kids and adults and hosts mobile pottery parties, bringing creative, hands-on experiences to celebrations of all kinds.

My name is Melody Meyer

I began my ceramics journey when I took a class at a local community college when I was 10. That began a foundation for a love of the arts! After graduating from Texas State University in 2008, I taught elementary school math and middle school art. When my son was born, I left the traditional classroom and learned how to create and ceramics.

I combined two of my favorite things: ceramics and teaching! I enjoy teaching people of all ages how to make functional and creative items that they will treasure.
