Service Description

Thursdays | 9:00 AM–2:00 PM Ages 7–13 | Fall 2026 Thursday has a focus on math Creative Learning Lab is a small-group homeschool enrichment program designed for kids who love to make, explore, experiment, and learn by doing. Instead of spending the day moving from one traditional subject to another, students experience a connected mix of ceramics, art, science, math, geography, and hands-on projects in a creative studio environment. Students spend dedicated 2 hours/day working with clay through wheel throwing, hand-building, glazing, and independent ceramic projects. Science comes to life through hands-on experiments, demonstrations, observation, and real-world exploration. Students strengthen math skills through problem-solving, practical applications, games, and individualized support. We explore the world through geography, culture, history, and hands-on activities that connect learning to real places and people. Students have opportunities to design, build, create, investigate, and follow their own curiosity. Creative Learning Lab is intentionally small so students can receive individual attention while still benefiting from the energy and ideas of a group. Students aren't expected to all learn in exactly the same way or at exactly the same pace. I meet students where they are, help them build confidence in areas that challenge them, and encourage them to go deeper in the areas they love. The result is a learning environment that is academic, creative, social, and hands-on—without feeling like a traditional classroom. The semester is intentionally structured with built-in breaks throughout the fall. These breaks give students and families time to recharge while also allowing us to plan projects, complete the ceramic process, and work around holidays and family schedules. Fall 2026 Breaks: September 28–October 2 October 27–October 30 November 24–November 26 Fall semester ends December 17, 2026.
